& The Future…
After thirty busy and enjoyable years in the Motor Trade, Vicki and Philip Hopewell sold their garage service business in June 2006. The remainder of that summer was spent recharging their own personal batteries and pondering their futures.
As both Vicki and Philip had always loved food, wine, cooking and entertaining they did not have to think too hard about the way forward. So some form of catering services was at the top of the agenda. Thought was given to the type of customer they would like to serve and they arrived at Natural Fayre.
The company mission is to source locally grown/reared produce and turn it into simple but tasty dishes which can be supplied fresh or frozen to local individuals or selected local retailers.
Now three years on…
The company has expanded into new terrority, the supply of “ready meals” is still the main core of the business. However as they found new customers, the feedback they got from customers has lead Vicki and Philip to see that there was much interest in food preparation and recipes, also people were expressing an interest in forming some sort of gathering to discuss food and wine.
So a new venture is soon to be launched.
The Dining Club, soon to hold its first event , a gathering of approximately forty people to meet at one of Nottingham,s fine restaurants, the idea is to bring together like minded “foodies”who can share the dining experience, exchange views, likes and dislikes of different dishes etc.
A brief talk would also be given by the propietor of the restaurant about the different dishes they had sampled during the evening. The Dining Club is expected to meet upto four times a year, members deciding where they would like to visit next.
In addition…
We also offer other non-food related services, which are detailed on our other website: www.jackfhopewell.com (coming soon!)
