Q) How do I get my picture to appear next to my comments?
A) Create an account at www.gravatar.com using the same email address you used when you registered with our site. Then upload a photo, tweak it to your satisfaction and “voila!”… Now every time you post a comment, your Gravatar (Globally Recognised Avatar) will automatically appear alongside it, not just on our site, but on any other site which supports the Gravatar system.
Q) I’ve forgotten my password and can’t log in, what should I do?
A) Click on the Forgot Password link, which should be visible at the top-right of our website. Then enter your email address (the one you used when you registered with our site) and a new password will be automatically emailed to you. Once you’ve logged in using your new password, you can go to your profile page and reset your password to something more memorable, if you so wish.
Q) How do I unsubscribe from receiving post notification emails?
A) Click this link, un-check the categories from which you wish to unsubscribe, and then click the Update Preferences button. There are also other options on this page to control how the notification emails are received and whether or not you wish to be notified of posts in future new categories.
Q) Certain parts of your website seem to display or function incorrectly, what should I do?
A) Our site is optimised for modern web browsers, such as Internet Explorer 8, Mozilla FireFox 3, and Apple Safari 4. To get the most from our site, and also to help keep your computer safe from potential online threats, we very much recommend that you update your browser whenever a newer version is available. Our site also relies on certain technologies to deliver some content, such as JavaScript, Adobe Flash and others. These are very commonly used technologies on the Web and, the chances are, your web browser will already be set-up to handle them correctly. However, if you have any issues with any aspect of our site, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line and we’ll do our utmost to point you in the right direction.
Q) I’ve got a fantastic recipe and I’d like to share it on your site. How can I do this?
A) We’d love to share your recipes and ideas with everyone on our site… Just email them to us via our contact page and we’ll post them, crediting you as the source!
